NATIONWIDE OPENS THIRD FAST FIT PLUS BRANCH IN CORNWALL
Nationwide Accident Repair Services plc has just opened the doors of a new Nationwide Fast Fit Plus centre in Redruth, Cornwall. This Fast Fit Plus centre is the third in the wholly-owned chain operated by Nationwide, and follows the success of two pilot sites in Kettering and Leicester.
The Nationwide Fast Fit Plus centres offer tyres, MOTs, servicing and all other traditional fast fit options alongside the automotive body and glass repairs for which Nationwide is the UK’s market leader.
As with the original Fast Fit Plus centres in Kettering and Leicester, the Redruth branch is attached to the existing Nationwide Repair Centre and has fresh branding and signage with a contemporary feel to create a friendly retail environment. The refurbishment and rebranding at Redruth is the result of a £200,000 investment in the existing Nationwide Repair Centre site on the Pool Industrial Estate, which already attracts fleet and retail customers in the local area.
Colin Bater, the Nationwide Territory Manager for Devon and Cornwall, was a keen supporter of the development. "Redruth is the most southerly Nationwide Repair Centre in the UK and is a tremendously successful branch for the organisation, with steady growth and consistently excellent customer care feedback. The business already has a loyal customer base in the area, including many local businesses, and it is ideally placed to attract passing traffic so it made sense to give the site a more obvious retail appeal and broader offering.
