Our apprenticeship scheme at Nationwide is one of the best in the motor industry – and we’re very proud of it. With over 200 apprentices in the business at any time, you’ll be in great company.

Nationwide’s apprentice opportunities are spread across the UK in our 73 Nationwide Repair Centres, in our Head Office in Oxfordshire, our two commercial centres in Hartford and Northwich, plus the head quarters of our exciting new Mobile Repair and Motorglass operations in Leicester. There are jobs available across the UK either as a Vehicle Technician (Paint Spraying, Panel Beating, Strip Fitting), either in our Repair Centres or with the Mobile Repairs & Motorglass teams, or in a Commercial role (Customer Service, Administration, Parts, Estimating).

However, wherever you start in Nationwide, you’ll be encouraged to move around the business. This will help you learn new skills, try new roles and find out if there is an area of the company that you are particularly interested in.

We, offer great training through our Nationwide Academy and specialist trainers, such as Thatcham or Glasgow Training Group (GTG), and give every apprentice a mentor to support them. All of our apprentices receive extensive on-the-job training based at one of our sites, supplemented by a range of off-the-job training enabling them to work towards an NVQ Level 3 qualification (or SVQ in Scotland) and a Technical Certificate where appropriate. Most importantly, you will start a career which can take you into management.
